Exterior renovation 1 - Hollywood, MD

We took this Hollywood bi–level from ordinary to extraordinary with attention to detail from start to finish. We furnished preliminary design drawings and then went to work. We extended the kitchen by 12 feet, adding space for a fully–modern chef´s haven filled with professional appliances. We also ramped up the home´s curb appeal by adding an inviting colonial front porch, a streamlined architectural roof, new windows, doors, siding and gutters. We completed the fresh, clean look of the house by re-grading the property and replacing the sidewalk.

To help the owners of this unique house enjoy their expansive views, we added a comfortable, shaded front porch and installed dormers with large windows to flood the house with natural light. We then renovated the interior, adding a bathroom, breezeway and garage. A new roof, siding and gutters will protect the house from the elements and keep it beautiful for years to come.

A little re-grading and the addition of a quality front door went a long way towards making the entrance of this ranch house more welcoming. We excavated the front lot and installed a sidewalk to improve drainage and access. We also added two decks and a parking area (not shown). Now the owners can enjoy their exterior views from any angle.

With a growing family, this customer wanted to expand their living space by adding a new playroom and office. While designing the addition, it was important to insure that the existing look and feel of the house remained in place. Our goal was to create an impression that the new addition was always part of the original house. Mission accomplished!

Basements

Interior renovation 1

Creating a light–filled basement interior is an art. We opened up this lower–level and harmonized the space by adding: architectural detail, new flooring, strategically–placed lighting, custom moldings, new electrical work and a gas fireplace. To make the space ultra–convenient and livable, we also installed a bathroom with a shower. The owners can now cozy up next to the fireplace on cold nights and enjoy hundreds of feet of bright, new living space.

Interior renovation 2

From bare studs to bright, beautiful and functional: We added a full kitchen to one end of this basement and created a sun–flooded living area at the other end. We carefully installed natural hardwood and quality tile flooring and connected the space with arched openings and thoughtful architectural detail. We completed the remodel by adding an expansive bath with a shower and a whirlpool tub. Now the space can double as separate living quarters or serve as a fully–equipped entertainment area.
